St. Patrick’s Church: My First Confession – The Musical

Frank O’Connor is one of Ireland’s greatest literary figures of the 20th century, renowned worldwide for his masterful short stories. His classic tale My First Confession is famously set in St. Patrick’s Church itself. 

To celebrate this legacy, the pupils of Scoil Oilibhéir, Dublin Hill will perform an abridged musical version of My First Confession, specially written as part of their school’s 40th anniversary celebrations. 

The evening will open with a short talk on Frank O’Connor and his deep connections to St. Patrick’s Church and the surrounding area — followed by this unique performance in the very location where the story unfolds.
