Independent Irish communications agency Springboard Communications has been named Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) Consultancy Team of the Year at the inaugural PRII Communication Impact Awards. Presented at a gala event at the Conrad Hotel, Dublin, the award recognises the agency's leadership in purpose-led communications, innovation, and long-term investment in its people and clients.
This caps a standout year for the Cork-headquartered agency, which also won PRCA Agency of the Year at the 2025 Spotlight Awards for Excellence in Communications earlier this summer.
With offices in Cork and Dublin, Springboard Communications is a B Corp-certified agency that combines purpose, impact, and commercial strategy. The PRII judges commended the consultancy for "practising externally what is preached internally", highlighting its strong commitment to culture, staff development, cutting-edge tools, and continuous innovation.
Speaking on the award, Susie Horgan, Managing Director and Founder of Springboard Communications, said: "This award is a powerful endorsement of what we stand for at Springboard — purpose-led communications, real business impact, and a deep commitment to our people and clients. I'm incredibly proud of our team, whose talent and integrity fuel everything we do. We're privileged to partner with organisations that are shaping a better future, and we remain focused on driving meaningful change through strategy, creativity, and communications that truly make a difference."
Recent milestones for Springboard Communications include the launch of its e-book Beyond Buzzwords: Authentic Stakeholder Engagement in Sustainability and the introduction of its Sustainability Decoder Framework. In 2024, the agency achieved B Corp Certification — one of only three Irish PR firms to do so — reinforcing its commitment to people, planet, and purpose. Its expanding portfolio of Green Transition clients now represents the agency's second-largest sector, reflecting both strategic growth and values alignment.
The agency also published the second edition of its Internal Communications in Ireland Report in 2024, a widely used cross-sector resource, and has made significant progress in evolving its pricing model toward value-based outcomes, ensuring that services are increasingly aligned with measurable client impact.
Springboard Communications is the Irish affiliate of the Worldcom Public Relations Group and works with clients across Ireland and internationally, spanning technology, public sector, renewable energy, pharmaceutical, and social enterprise sectors.
