The VQ welcomes expressions of interest to join its Board. The role of Board members is voluntary. The Board is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of the organisation and supporting the Executive in their operational role.
Our aim is to have a Board made up of members with a diverse array of professional skills and experience. We are currently looking for people with experience in any of the following areas and/or sectors:
• Professional Services (Finance/Legal/Governance/Risk Management)
• Technology
• Sustainability
• Urban Planning
• Education
• Communications/PR
We are also interested to hear from members with experience in tourism, hospitality, retail and cultural sectors, for future appointments.
Previous not-for-profit Board experience is also a plus.
